Old drivers

Do you know what really grinds my gears? Old drivers. Now I don't hate old people, I just hate them behind the wheel. I know from experience that old drivers aren't the best drivers. I believe that almost everyone would agree that driving behind an old person is annoying. I remember this one time I was in a rush to go to work and I had 10 minutes to get there, and I was stuck behind this old person who was driving sooo slow. The speed limit was 40 and because I was behind this old lady, I was going 25 mph. It was so annoying. Because of her I was stopped by every red light and I ended up showing 10 minutes late for work. Since I was late, I ended up getting in trouble by my manager, and got a write up, all because of an old driver.

College

Do you know what really grinds my gears? College. The way I see it, colleges take all your hard earned money that you made, and it takes that money to pay for classes that you need to eventually get a job to make more money. So basically you spend thousands and thousands of dollars for one college year, to hopefully make it up later in the future. Now to me that doesn't make sense. I work at McDonald's, and i'm trying to put myself through college making 7.56 an hour, and I don't qualify for financial aid. I only make around 5,000 dollars a year and to go to delta for one year it costs around 5,000 dollars. now if you do the math, that leaves me with 0.00 dollars, and leaves the college with all my hard earned money. So that is why college grinds my gears, at least for me.

Money

Do you know what really grinds my gears? Money. I hate how in today's society money is the only thing that matters. It's like money is the only thing we live for. and if you don't have money, you don't have value. I hate that we were raised to believe that we need to go to college to get a good job to make good money. Even as kids we understood that money was important. We used to get excited when we lost a tooth because we knew as kids that if we put the tooth under our pillows we'd get money the next day. Why as americans do we treasure paper money so much, I mean it's just paper. In order to be qualified as "successful" in this day and age you have to have a lot of money. But why? Why has money become so important to us. I wish there was no money, no currency. Because without it, we are truly free.

Procrastination

Do you know what really grinds my gears? When I procrastinate. I don't know why I do it, I just do. Like for example, this blog post I am currently writing is due today, and i'm doing it today! And I still have two more to do after this one. I've been procrastinating ever since I got into high school and to this day I continue to procrastinate. Every time my English professor would assign me an essay to do, I would start that essay the day before or the day of its due date. Procrastinating is not good, and doing it too much can make life very stressful. I don't know why I procrastinate so much, it's just I can't get motivated enough to do the work on any other day. I feel if I stop procrastinating I would get better grades on stuff, and it will make life a lot less complicated. I just need to get better at not procrastinating, but until then it still grinds my gears.

Cats.

Do you know what really grinds my gears? Cats. I'm not a big fan of cats at all. There's like a hate hate relationship between me and cats. I remember when I was a boy and my parents had gotten me and my brother an all grey cat. We named him shadow. Anyway I loved shadow, but he couldn't stand me. Every time I tried to touch him or love him he'd always tried to attack me and hurt me. Even if I walked by him he'd chase me out the room like he wanted me dead or something. As a kid i'd always have claw marks on my arms and it got to the point where my parents finally got rid of him because he didn't like me. So ever since then I never liked cats and never will.

Commercials

Do you know what really grinds my gears? Commercials. I hate when i'm watching a really good show, and it's getting all intense then out of no where BOOM, commercial. I also hate when the show or movie is on and they play more commercials then the actual show or movie.
Plus i hate really bad commercials. You know, the ones where it looked like the whole thing was shot on a flip phone. Also the ones where the acting is just horrific. I really wish there was a fast forward button when your watching tv so you could just skip the commercials. Or i wish they had a tv station where there was no commercials period. To be honest i'm so annoyed by commercials so much that I don't even watch tv because of the commercials. I only watch netflix. But if tv ever got rid of commercials i might reconsider to watching tv again.

I hate winter.

Do you know what really grinds my gears? Winter. I do not like winter whatsoever. I'm so sick of walking outside and feeling like I’m in Antarctica. I wish i lived somewhere warm and sunny 24/7, where it's summer all year round. In the summer, i feel like myself, happy, energetic, motivated, always hanging out with friends, always doing something. But when it's cold and winter I don't feel like doing anything. In the winter all i do is bundle up in my blankets and watch Netflix all day and hardly socialize with anybody. I also think that's the same for all my friends too, because when it was summer all my friends blew up my phone wanting to hang out and do something, but now that it's winter no one wants to do anything. I just want winter to be over so I don't have to deal with the annoying weather anymore
